Very early handmade original black and white label Laura Ashley teal regency style dress with tie cuffs

A very rare find as this is actually a larger size than most early Laura Ashley pieces found and is a very early piece which can be seen in the construction and details throughout. It has a slightly wonky neckline and the stitching on the cuffs is not perfect, which shows not only how early it is but also that it was handmade

Condition

Ver good condition for its age, three small bleach marks as shown in the last pictures, these are all smaller than my finger tip, otherwise the material is in wonderful shape. There is one very small frayed hole which is on the hem ruffle, again shown, but this is not noticable when worn due to the masses of material to the dress. There are some minor oddities in the making of the dress, which show that this is a very early piece so shouls not be considered flaws but more a testimony to how early a piece this is!

  • Due to the one off vintage nature of each piece and the small size of the business (I am just a one woman show!) I can only accept returns in exchange for shop credit, please check the Shipping and Returns page for more info and contact me with any questions.

Any major flaws are listed in the product description so please check this over thoroughly before purchasing, as well as all measurements and guide sizing. I strongly suggest checking the measurements given against your own measurements, or a piece you love the fit of so you know that it will have the desired fit perfect for you!

Please remember these pieces are at least 30+ years old and will often show small signs of wear and/or age. This is part of the charm of owning a unique vintage piece and is a testimony to the history and story that belongs only to that one very special garment. I only sell vintage I truly believe in, which may include small blemishes, that being said, I do make sure to check them over thoroughly and will only sell items in good wearable condition!
